Meredith contacted me a few months ago, and I felt like we were friends from the get-go. She's just one of those people. So friendly, so happy, so comfortable. And it makes you happy and comfortable. :)
I got the text saying to come to the hospital at 9:30 pm. She was dilated to a five, so I thought I'd have plenty of time. (Rule #1 when dealing with births- Never take time for granted.)
I arrived at her room around 10:15. She was dilated to a nine!! Oh boy! I felt a little panicked inside. They started wheeling everything in. The doctor arrived at 10:29. Six minutes later, Remington was born. It was the quickest birth I've been to.
Meredith was such a gem, the whole time. :) She said it was her best experience out of all three births. Her two little girls were DOLLS. And they were SO in love with their new little brother. Aaliyah (age 8) was in awe of little Remi. She just wanted to touch him and be near him, you couldn't wipe the smile off her face. Bella (age 2) was very cautious, but very excited. She loved the idea of him. She just kept giggling.
This family was so cute to watch. I loved every minute. I hope you enjoy this session as much as I did. :)
Remington Scott was born on May 13th, at 10:35 pm. He was 7 lb. 12 oz. and 21 inches long.
